Clinical Supervisor & Mental Health Therapist
Mimir Everett, LCSW (they/them)
Who am I?
Hello, I’m Mimir (They/Them), I identify as Gender Queer, Polyamorous, Queer, and Kinky. I am from North Dakota and moved to New Mexico a few years ago now. When I step back and look at the common thread throughout my career and my life, I see a deep desire to build acceptance and care for myself and those around me. I also see a curious questioning of myself and the world around me as I build a path for my own life.
What is my approach?
I see healing and growth as a process of self-acceptance, exploration of our ever-evolving needs and values, building connection, and transforming how we have survived in this world into beautiful new ways to thrive in the world we co-create with those around us. Through curious and compassionate exploration of safety strategies (the way we learned to protect ourselves from others, ourselves, and our experiences) and mindfully holding our emotions and experiences we find a path forward. I bring cognitive, attachment, systemic, humanist, queer, feminist, and experiential approaches to therapy to collaboratively work with people as they navigate life.
What is my focus for my work?
The focus of my work has been creating safe spaces for oppressed individuals and couples to seek care as they face challenges in their life. My work aims to serve oppressed peoples. This includes people who identify as LGBTQIA2+, Kinky or other Alternative sexualities, Non-monogamous, BIPOC, Cultural minorities, and people who generally want to build their own path in life.

Lorie Wagner Shelton, LMHC (she/her)
I have always been fascinated by behavioral science and neurology. Understanding why individuals behave or think in specific ways helps to acquire self-awareness and alter behavior. Beyond that, communication is at the heart of every relationship. This intrigue led to my completion of a degree in communications and psychology and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I am continually expanding my knowledge of modern trauma
interventions and neuropsychotherapy.
Before my clinical studies, I gained valuable experience in child advocacy, substance abuse, and assisting cancer patients in navigating their medical journeys. I am also honored to help US veterans transitioning to civilian life with various traumas. I have over twenty years of experience as a self-employed business owner and former corporate employee. My background provides a diverse perspective as I support individuals with career changes and general life
transitions.
My philosophy centers on promoting whole health by seamlessly integrating physiological health with psychological wellness. I am grounded in a holistic, person-centered, evidence-based
approach with the goal of empowering others. I have a lifelong passion for learning and exploring the connections between the mind, body, and spirit. Having faced some challenging situations in my own life, I discovered the benefits of yoga, meditation, mindful breathing, and conscious mind-body awareness techniques. Learning and applying these ancient healing practices in my daily life brings me immense happiness.
While helping others weather life’s storms, I remain dedicated to staying at the forefront of research. I collaborate with Wake Forest School of Medicine to further apply translational neuroscience to clinical practice, which helps me tailor treatments to the unique needs and preferences of those I serve.
When not in sessions, I enjoy taking nature walks and training my Golden Retriever, who is currently “in training” to become a nationally certified therapy dog.

I use a wide range of modalities including a client-centered approach, attachment therapy, and an intersectional feminist lens. I offer an empathetic space for clients to be seen and heard while providing guidance towards exploration, understanding and growth.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to change and grow. I also believe that healing isn't linear and that sometimes we need to be seen and heard in order to allow parts of ourselves to heal. Taking time to invest in yourself and your wellbeing can be a radical act.

TJ Dudley, MA, LMHC (TJ/he/him)
One of my divine missions in life is to use my learned and lived experiences to help others discover their authentic selves, and build their confidence in who they are, while uprooting any negative core beliefs planted by others. Throughout my childhood and early adulthood, I struggled with being my authentic self. I walked through life trying to please others, trying to fit into societal norms, and trying to shrink myself to make others comfortable around me. By doing all these things, along with experiencing trauma, my inner being suffered in silence. Through my own personal healing journey, I now believe that being your true authentic self is one of the best ways to honor yourself and the Universe. Additionally, I also learned that my thoughts, my feelings, and my voice matter, and so do yours.
I aspire to help others through their healing journey by creating a safe space for them to process past traumas, connecting behavior and thought patterns that are impeding on their healing process, offering different perspectives to help them gain valuable insights, and providing them with helpful tools for coping during triggering and stressful situations. I am a strong advocate for the underdogs of society and the black sheep of families, as well as anyone who has ever felt inadequate or not good enough. And I strive to promote mental wellness, normalize mental health, and be a positive beacon of light and hope in the world.

We are wired for connection and relationship, however sometimes life is so overwhelming we get stuck in uncomfortable protective responses that leave us feeling irritable or shut down. Together and at your pace, we will enter into relationship and work with your natural capacity for healing, helping you to feel seen in your unique experience. My therapy style is one of curiosity, warmth, and gentle humor.
As a queer identified therapist, I enjoy working with teens and adults who are often perceived as different. Amanda Fenn, MS, LPCC (she/her)
I came to this work because I have a passion for helping people connect with who they are and who they hope to become. I want to help people change the narratives they tell about themselves while we jointly seek out spaces for fulfillment and peace in their lives. I value building relationships and collaborating with clients as we work together to navigate life’s challenges.
I use many techniques and borrow from several theories in my practice. I mainly practice from a narrative perspective and rely heavily on Relational Cultural Theory as well. This means that the relationship that I build with my clients is central to our work. It also means that I often use story and metaphor to talk through the problems that arise in therapy.
When meeting with me, you can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, humor, and acceptance. You can also expect to be supportively challenged and encouraged to view yourself, others, and problems from a new lens. We may not always be able to change our circumstances, but I believe we can alter the stories we tell about them and ourselves.

Tanya Marthaller-Duran, MA, LMHC (she/her)
I’m Tanya (she/her) I am a therapist who is honored to walk beside you on your journey of healing and becoming your authentic self. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and being a supportive ally for the individuals I serve. Everyone needs a cheerleader! I have experience working with transgender/gender non-conforming youth and their families. I understand what it means to walk alongside a family member as they journey through transition and the difference it makes when they have the support and love of others. I also understand conflicts can happen in families when values and beliefs no longer align. I have experience working with parents and teaching nurturing parenting skills and helping parents learn to energize the positive in their children.
I utilize many different approaches to therapy that include TF-CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I offer a non-judgmental, open and safe space for you to explore, learn and grow and discover who you are and experience healing within.

I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey.
